rim breaks

I need a rear rim break for dirt and street, any recommendations?
Not overly expensive either.

Presumably you want a brake since a break is usually a bad thing in a rim.

Avid Single Digit 7s were always my V-brakes of choice

Hydraulics or cable? If cable you can get a pair of xt's pretty cheap. If hydraulics, youre going to sturggle for cheap but some magura hs33's would do nicely.
