What colour should I paint my bike?
I bough a frame a few months ago as it was cheap but don't like the colour.
I'm going to repaint my aluminum commuting machine from the horrible yellow it is now.
I'm leaving the forks as they are (carbon-silver with a little black)
I was thinking mettalic silver, blue, black etc. nothing to garish.
I might do mix colours like top tube and seat stays one colour and down tube and chainstays another and seat another.
Any cool ideas or any cool bikes I could copy?

Everyone knows that red is the fastest colour.0

I'm definately going to put some "go faster" stripes on the down tubes.0

Pah...blue is!
I'd have a look on fixed wheel gallery or some other page with lots of pics of various bikes on and pick an idea or inspiration from there.0 -
Make it different otherwise why bother. Orange, Dark Pink or Dark Yellow. Then go for a bright red head tube or rear end. OK, just go for a deep metalic purple with black lettering.0

Having said that, I've just bought a red frameFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -

Hi there.
You need to paint it the same colour as your old bike - that way you can sneak it past your other half...
