Hello :D

Having lurked for a bit I thought it was about time that I said Hello and joined in!

I've only been riding for a few months with my other half (who's been riding for years) and I am LOVING it! It's mostly in the New Forest, although we've also been to Afan a few times. I'm just about getting the hang of the clipless pedals and am not quite so embaressingly bad as I was...!

I have also just bought myself a very lovely second hand Santa Cruz superlight - it needs a bit of tweaking (the chain broke on my first ride and the shock needs servicing urgently) but other than that it's fab :D

Look forward to bombarding you all with my daft questions

Sarah

Welcome Sarah!! :D Hope you enjoy yourself around here! Be warned though, its quite addictive . . .

One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other.

Thanks for all of your messages!

    That country house looks fab!

And TOMFRASERB - it was the Penhydd Trail that i've done a few times. Not very elegantly mind you, and I had to walk a couple of bits, but each time I do I get a bit further and walk less (which has got to be a good sign, right?!!)

I was out riding last night and ended up very annoyed with myself - I am so slow compared to everyone else! I only fell off once though, a soft landing as I unfortunately fell into one of the other chaps! It's one way to make friends...

Roll on Afan (again) at the weekend... :D
