Just got this through on my local cycling groups mailing list.

Dear fellow cyclist,



I’m contacting you in the hope that you can promote my cycling petition to the members of your BUG.



I’m tired of coming across colleagues in local authorities where the HR department or others will not implement a ride 2 work scheme and/or hide behind “other priorities”.

I've already signed up as my employer wasn't interested in starting the Ride2Work scheme as not enough people where interested!

    Tell your employer that Scrivens Opticians has over 1000 employees and they signed to the Ride to Work scheme for just one employee (me) as a trial to see how it works. My first year is up in April and they are very happy with the lack of work/time/effort it takes to manage the scheme and are rolling it out to everyone in the Spring.
