What's the torch/bike light..

... that everyone has been recommending?

Getting paid tomorrow and fancy a single decent light for my good bike for late night countryside rides.

I think it was about £40 and took AA batteries.

They are narrower than the lights I use on my commuting bike. Length is not so much of a problem. And they are more aero

I have one as a helmet light and it's great for the dark sections of country road: 180 lumens between the eyes gets car drivers to dip their lights from quite a distance...

I'm not short of space in front of my bike so 14cms doesn't really matter.

2 L2d's really creates a "WTF" reaction at junctions and stops some drivers pulling out inappropriately. Gotta be careful where you angle them on the road though, they will dazzle other road users, perhaps dangerously so.
