i have deore m525 hydro's and was wandering could i use the leaver with this calliper

Sh*t me at that price I'd make them work!! On a serious note can't think of any reason they shouldn't be compatible, but don't quote me on that! Sorry I couldn't give a more diffinitive answer mate, maybe sonic'll be along soon

Strange choice to put with a Deore 525.
Pain to set up as they use shims to align and the weight saving is less than paperclip.

It would work - ypu can use any shimano lever with any caliper.
