Hi can anyone recommend a pair of waterproof bibtights that will keep me warm in the winter but also waterproof on the front of them? looking to spend around the £40 mark, i bought a pair of nike windfront tights which would have been pretty much perfect but they have a really strange/bad fitting.

Not many waterproof tights about, and you'd be looking at more than 40.

Waterproofing with lyrca is not really an issue, because it's so close to your skin you don't tend to notice the wet, warmth is more important. As fluff has already mentioned you'll pay a fortune for 'true' waterproof tights...0

I second the Merston bib tights idea. I ordered them on Friday, they came on Saturday and I was out riding in them that day. They're really comfortable with a good pad. I think they were only about £32 with discount. OK they're not waterproof, but your legs will dry quickly when you get to work or home._______________________

These Lusso bibtights are not completely waterproof but don't get soggy either. Plenty of places sell them at well under the RRP.
