Rigid forks

Washing down my singlespeed after my morning ride, I noticed I have bent the forks forward, they have creased in a typical bent tube fashon and the steering is really slow now (obviously). What is there for a cheap rigid fork with v-brake mounts. It is to fit an old carrera vulcan, with standard qr dropouts.

I've been to a lbs and they've given me a set of judy's for a fiver, they are knackered but will see me for the meantime.

How strong are the kona forks?

However the main problem with them is that the steering has become very twitchy... because the A2C height is a little greater and there looks to be less rake. Will a longer stem slow things down and make the bike more ridable. It is particularly noticeable when pedalling standing up, the bike flops from side to side and doesn't stay centered.

    Thanks,

    Tom
