Front brake caliper

The front Shimano Tiagra caliper has recently begun not to spring back after the brake lever has been pulled. It opens back slightly, enough for the rim to roll through, but the tension on the lever is slack for most of the 'pull' until the very end when the tension is there.

Is it a new caliper job or just a case of a strip down and clean/re-grease or something else?

Thanks,

Rhys.

Strip down and grease up the pivots etc. I had a cheap pair of Tektro callipers and greased them up and they were brilliiantly after that. Grease all the pivots and don't do the bolts up too tight.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Could be gunky or frayed cables, might be worth replacing inners and outers.
