Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and looking to get back into regular riding again after a few years away from it. My budget is somewhere in the £500 region and I want something light and responsive for weekend trail riding and the occasional bit of small jumping.

I tried out a Cannondale F5 disc today £550 from Evans Cycles in Bristol and I was very impressed. It's at the top end of my budget, so I wondered if anyone owned one yet or new a little about it? Is it worth the money?

I loved the general feel and from what I could tell around the streets of Bristol it was a sharp ride, but obviously it's not the same as getting it off road! If anyone can give me some feedback on the Rock Shox Dart 2 forks that would be useful too!

Thanks,

Rich
