Tyres sizes for Specialiized Stumpjumper '05 FSR Pro frame

Hi there,

just joined so please forgive me as I am not that experienced on the whole forum front.

I just purchased a second hand frame as per title and hoping to upgrade many of my bike parts before building up the new bike, but i was wondering if there is anyone out there who happens to know what size/width of tyre can be fitted to the rear of the above frame without frame rub? I am really looking to confirm if it will fit 2.3"'s

Its a little bit low tech but to see if a tire will fit i always cut a peice of cardboard a little bigger in width than the supposed width of the tire and put it between the stays of the frame, if it fits then ur ok.

if you buy from your lbs and it doesn't fit then you can return it.
