Astana Bikes in The TDU?
What's Astana riding in the Tour Down Under? Those blue bikes don't look like Treks. I'm only going by some awkward angle pictures on cycling news site:

See No. 77's down tube, doesnt look like the word trek but the wishbone of No. 72 does look like a Treks. I'm confused.

The bike pictured in those photos is the new Trek Madone.
Looks like Trek on No.77's downtube to me!0 -
Surely not. The word on the downtube it greater than four letters long. Maybe my screen resolution is poor or I got too much dust on my monitor!Every winner has scars.0

I think so too but that's not what it says on No 77's down tube.Every winner has scars.0

They are the STOCK Madone 5.2 Pro Frame
Their 6.9 are being painted in the new colours which are "very nice"Racing is life - everything else is just waiting0 -
Photoshop tells me it's indeed "Trek" that is written on that downtube.0

The seat-stays are quite distinctive too. Go by that if you can't make out the writing on the down tube.
Hypocrisy is only a bad thing in other people.0 -
Definately full team issue kit there, Bontrager wheels, SRAM groupset....0

I stand corrected as I thought I might. Thanks for the link Mog. Lovely bike (wipe drool from gaping mouth)Every winner has scars.0

Poor rider 77. Imagine being the guy who's downtube is more important than his name....
