Advice needed on full suss frame . Which to buy ?

Currently get a Commencal Meta 5 that has a dent in the frame due to a mishap at home and am in the process of claiming for on the insurance . I've been more than happy with it and could have the same frame again but i can't help but think about trying something else and i don't really like the white that the Commi is only available in .
Been looking today and have seen a new 2005 Cove Hustler in matt black ( fav colour ) for £899 reduced from £1250 . Also like the look and versatile set up of the Cotic Hemlock . Budget is £1000
What you reckon , should i stick with Commi or try something a bit more exotic ?
Any other frame suggestions welcome within budget but don't want mainstream such as Spech , giant , Trek Kona etc
