Mavic rip-off!

Ok, so whilst riding on Sunday a branch decided to visit my rear wheel and destroy 4 spokes. No worries I thought, go to my LBS and order 4 new ones, get the wheel repaired and I'm back on the road.

Got a call today from the LBS - I can't by them individually, I have to &*$%^ buy a pack of 30 spokes for £35!!! Where's the sense in that!

I hope someone from Mavic reads this!!!

More like the shop has to buy a box of 30 and they are trying to pass it on to you.

Thought so - I used to use it all of the time but then a couple of things happened (like this) that pi55ed me off - so unless I am buying something big that where I know they are not taking the piss I don't bother with them - I use another little LBS who orders anything in for me and normally only charges me trade price

Mavic Factory wheels look so good but they are not that great to live with. I bet the same bike shop could have fitted double butts there and then.

Sorted - b.b co are a rip off but sell exceedingly good bikes which is hard in the South East....
