First Full Sus'r

Just had my Giant XTC stolen and need to replace it quickly. Looking at upgrading to a full sus'r couple caught my attension Trek Fuel 7, Spec FSR XC Pro or Kona four deluxe. Haven't been keeping up with new components so no idea which has the best overall spec. Any comments will help thanks

    All good bikes, components are much of a muchness at this price point.

    With the Trek is it the Fuel EX or the Top Fuel? The EX more of an enduro/trail tool where the Top Fuel is a race bike.

    Also consider the Giant Anthem 2 in this price bracket.

    Unlike the other us bikes, its designed for the uk, with that bit extra bb clearance.

    I have been recommended the top fuel 7, most of my riding is at places like cwm carn and coed y brenin etc.

    If most of your riding is at trail centres, I'd be looking elsewhere. The Top Fuel and the Kona Four are full-on race bikes - steep geometry, twitchy handling and short-travel suspension.

    The FSR would be better bet, but personally I'd be looking for something a bit slacker with longer travel suspension.
