Is it best to have this done by a main dealer (whatever your frame)?

Or is it something you can do yourself.

I was asking in direct relation to my Attack Trail, Although it's working fine (according to previous owner - it's not built up yet) and the shock has just been serviced - this year (after I have give it a good run-in) I will probably have the the bearings looked at in the frame - they are complicated frames (unlike my Mythic)

Thanks

Marin bearings are replaced free for the lifetime of the original owner of the bike, and proof of purchase is needed to claim it.
Get the guy you're buying it off to send it back to ATB Sales for new bearings if you have any doubts.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
  • No doubts - they are fine - it's hardly been used.

I actually have the frame now - so it would mean that I would have to take it. Not the seller

I have the receipt so I could always say that I am him (with his permission of course)

I don't mind (say in 6 months) having it serviced and paying tbh - may as well take it to a Marin Dealer

Just wouldn't want to attempt it myself
