best tyre for uk weather

hi all, i was looking for tyres and wondered are maxxis high roller xc the best choice for uk weather conditions, ie soft and wet cross country?

Panaracer Trailrakers are universally praised for their UK trail prowess in the wet dirty conditions we usually have to endure.

I've got High Rollers on my Meta 5 and they are pretty good at dealing with most situations from wet and muddy through to really rocky. They roll a little slow though.

I've got 2.1 highroller xc's on the club roost. Haven't washed out in the 5 or so months i've had them anyway and done plenty of red and black xc routes!
