Any sugested routes around Tewkesbury?

Apart from needing a boat - can anyone suggest a good 50 mile (or so) route from Tewkesbury? My parents have moved there so when I visit I'd like to do a ride but don't know the area at all. I'd like to get some hill work in so was thinking about heading towards the Malvern Hills.

is there a local club where I could join the club run?

Any pointers appreciated.

You can't go wrong going round Bbredon Hill and the malverns to get you around 50miles in. Stonking good ride:

B4080 NE out of Tewkesbury to Bredon
Follow lanes to kemerton-beckford-ashton under hill- elmley castle then Pershore
From Pershore het on the a4104 to Defford then Upton on Severn
Keep on to wellend then Little Malvern
Left onto A449 up the climb to British Camp car park
Down the other side towards Ledbury but take left onto A438 before you get there
Past Eastnor climb to Hollybush then a stonking long generally down blast to Tewkesbury
