Manhole cover

Just a thanks to the chap on the bike who warned me about the manhole cover which had been swept into the cycle lane by the water in Preston this morning. That could have been very nasty! I moved it out of the road for the benefit of others who might not have seen it. Cheers.

    good lad. ive only ever stopped a couple of time to move to crap from the road that'd be a danger to cyclists....really should do it more often.

    What about the hole that it should have covered? Difficult to see when there is flood water in the road.

    The hole was in the middle of the road with a fountain of water gushing up out of it. There wasn't much I could do about that really, It was the cycle lane I was more concerned about as it's on a downhill stretch. It had all been conned off on my return home anyway. But the drain cover was still were I left it. The council must have had a busy day!
    It's all good.
