Just been out for my Sunday morning ride and as always I was going to be late home when I saw the railway bridge I had to go under near Dalton was flooded. As I was on my old bike I slowly went through it seeing the water come up about 1/2 way to my wheel spindle, first one foot then the other went below the water line two or three times before I came out the other side, Against all hopes my feet were still dry, the footwear I had on were Deadora Mountain bike type shoes with Planet X overshoes. When I got home 15 minutes later and stripped off the over shoes were dripping, cycling shoes damp and socks Dry :lol::lol:
