Campag 50/36 to 50/34 conversion

Any of you guys know where I can get an 34 tooth inner chain ring? Do Campagnolo offer these as spares or would I have to get another make?

    Campagnolo do offer them as spares and you can get them via Italian Cycle Products in Derby.

    There is one alternative that I'm aware of TA do a ring called Nerius which fits Campagnolo carbon cranks. Wiggle can order them, as does Total Cycling.

    You need a 110mm PCD ring. Try either Spa Cycles, Harrogate, or BikePlus.Co.UK. Both will be able to supply you with a 34tooth ring.

    If you've got the carbon cranks then you need a special chainring, i.e. a normal 110 PCD ring may not fit due to the way one of the bolts attaches directly to the crank arm.

    I'm not sure if the same is true for the non carbon ones.

    You've probably thought this through, but perhaps buying a new cassette with more teeth at lower end would be better (as in bigger range of suitable gears) and easier to replace?
