Looking for a 'does it all bike', have been looking at things like Commencal Supreme Mini DH. The bike is to be used at Glentress, Innerleithen and Hamsterly aswell as for a trip to the Alps in July.
I'm looking to buy 2nd hand so something like a Specialized Pitch is out of the question.
Looking for suggestions on models and for specific bikes for sale.
Thanks

Are you looking for a frame to build up or a whole bike and what is your budget0

Preferably a full bike, although i do have some 6" Juniour T's i could use on a build.
Absolute max budget would be £700
I'm not sure of how much other components would cost, so budget for frame is 700 minus cost of everything except frameset0 -
Hi mate.
I own a Commencal Supreme 6 (now the mini dh), and it's fantastic. I bought it with trips to the alps in mind, and it's truly stonking out there. It's perfect for it- it feels like a DH bike, but is a big chunk lighter so easier to accelerate and get in the air.
I use it at trail centres now, and I've decided to sell the frame and get a Meta 5 instead. I'm sticking with commencal- the suspension is the best I've experienced, and their geometry is sorted.
The thing I find with the Supreme 6 is that, because I don't use it DH enough and want a bouncer I can use at XC races and for more long distance stuff. If you do the inners uplifts regularly, and the hamsterly DH track and GT freeride park, as well as the trail centres, then it's perfect.
I'm in St Andrews, you're welcome to try mine out if I get to GT/Inners sometime soon.0 -

That is ridiculously tempting! Hopefully that offer will still be on in February when i shall have some spare cash. I'll pop down the LBS, a Commencal dealer and check out the sizings.
Thankyou very much for the link.
PS notice the 6.2 and 6.3 are the same price!0 -
yeah i think the 6.2s cant be selling very well, probably cos the colour. i prefer the 6.3 in black. the only differences are the shock and double chainring(front der and shifter).0
