I'm not getting on with my Fizik Nisene saddle, and wondered if the Poggio would be more what I'm after.

I don't like very thickly padded saddles like the Nisene, and the Poggio looks like a good value alternative (they're only £10 on CRC). I do like the Fizik Gobi, but they cost new half what the bike cost me 2nd hand!

If you don't like a thickly padded saddle don't buy the Poggio. It has has thick, quite soft padding.

I've got them on 2 of my bikes and they're the most comfortable saddle I've ever used. Even on long distance rides I've had no discomfort what so ever and I ride a Cannondale (full aluminium).

Thanks for pointing that sale out because I can now get some scuff guards to match my crosser.
  • A cro-mo Planet-X saddle, perhaps? They have a starter for ten squids! Not seen them myself, but they were raved about last summer in the old pre-radar forums...
