Clothes drying progress?

How are your cycling clothes that you wore for the journey to work doing? My top is just about dry but my semi-waterproof trousers are still damp. Cycling shoes are dry, socks are nowhere near. Not looking foward to putting those on in just over an hour's time (but still looking forward to the ride home, as ever)!

Looking good actually! The site I'm on at the moment has 4 or 5 shower rooms with heated towel rails so my socks and cycling shorts went on those this morning.
I put my trackies down there earlier as I hadn't realized how wet they got and they should be dried off a bit, along with my gloves!

My top is completely dry, but only because it got left hanging over the back of the chair in one of the smaller server rooms (one of the few benefits of working in IT, we generally get access to rooms full of computers blowing out rather warm air :-D)

Looking foward to the ride home as it hasn't (yet) started to rain again so I won't need to wear the waterproof bits again, although they didn't help much this morning just take the brunt of the water so I'm not soaking and cold, just quite damp and warm :-)

Heated towel rails... I wish we had those! We've got a "drying room" at work but it's just a room with a long rail and lots of hangers in it - nothing in there to make things dray faster at all. Although we do have loads of cycle racks, showers and lockers provided so I can't really complain about a lack of cycling facilities!

I'm in the interesting position of rarely getting a fixed working place - it's great as my commute can change from week to week but I don't always have a towel to use the showers due to limited bag space :-(

This is the first site I've been to that actually has cycle racks etc. I'm sure some others have but as I'm usually classed as a contractor I'm not told about these things so I'm rather greatful to able to use them!

The heated towel rails are a first, although another site I went to did go one better and had a tumble dryer :-D

  • I have my own (smelly) office and an electric fan.

My stuff is all-dry, however my office smells and it’s very hot!

  • Air-con office guarantees kit dry within a couple of hours of arriving soaked. Dread to think what its doing to me though!

We have a poorly ventilated server room that gets far too hot.
I hang my wets up in there - its like an airing cupboard.
