Of course im never late. But are you late often and how does your employer feel about it? 9Although in the wind and rain my hour commute can extend a bit.)
Also, do you need 10mins to get your wet kit off and get sorted?

To enjoy peace and quiet in the showers followed by a leisurely breakfast, I tend to arrive an hour earlier than colleagues. Obviously I send out crack-of-dawn emails to look efficient and look pointed at my watch when bedraggled public transport commuters shuffle through the door0

I'm a "mixed-mode" commuter - bike then train. I'm only late if the train is late.0

I'm rarely late because my clients wouldn't pay me for the first appointment!!!!0

i never miss a deadline!Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

I'm never late, I'm on flexitime though - but expected at 9ish, but I leave home at 7am for a 30min commute, get in work for 0730, gives me plenty of time to have a shower and coffee. Commuting early means I miss the worst of the morning deadlock, and that I normally get to go home early.0

Start work at 9am but arrive at 8am so I can have a nice shower, sort out clothes, cup of coffee etc... Leaving early also gives me that bit extra incase I get a dreaded puncture...0

I've hardly ever been late as a result of cycling with my current bike - I think I've only had one or two punctures on the way in to work. My previous bike (a real pile of London Lite) was a nightmare - I was seriously late one day when the front wheel spontaneously buckled beyond repair.
Mostly I'm only late if I'm late leaving home or if for some reason I have to take the train instead of cycling and the train is late. I sometimes get held up in the shower queue at work but it's usually not too bad, especially at this time of year. I'm not enough of an early riser to come in an hour early to avoid the crowds.
I've been good for the last couple of months and haven't been late at all...0 -
I'm usually always late especially this time of year. My employer doesn't really care when I turn up (within reason) as long as I get my work done. I make it in early in the Summer though. It's all good.0

I get to work for 7:40, and normally do a bit of work, then head down for a shower any time between 8 and 9:30. My work hours are formally 8 till 4:30, but nobody minds me getting 20 minutes work in early which I then take back when I have a quick shower a little later on. It's an arrangement that suits me very well.0

I'm always late but it has nothing to do with the fact that I come in on the bike. If I were to take the bus it would probably take the same amount of time (or more).Bianchi Via Nirone Veloce/Centaur 20100

Every other day, but it's not because of the cycling, it's because I like sleeping.

Never late on the bike - in for about 8.00-8.15 and cleaned up by 8.30. Have my own office, and work in Higher Education - most of my 'learned colleagues' don't arrive till 9.30....0

I'm very rarely late. and the boss doesn't really mind as I'm early moer than i'm late.
I usualy start work at 10am, i leave just after 9am, and it's only a 4 mile commute. leaving at that time means I miss the 9am start traffic and the 10am start traffic, which is a great bonus on my fixie as i hate traffic jams! leaving that early gives me tie to cycle in so i don't sweat too much, mis out on a shower as we moved to a place with no showers! get changed into dry clothes and have a coffee.
if you're late, just make it up to them and they shouldn't moan if they're a hallf way sensible boss. I know I won't moan too much when I rule.0 -
Pretty much every day. I have a lot of trouble getting out of bed when it's cold'n'dark and usually raining. I'm generally at my desk about 15 mins late most days. After work I leave a bit later anyway to let the traffic build up- it's easier to negotiate once it's largely stationary.0

Never been late. I always leave my self between 30 - 45 mins to allow for headwind or punctures etc0
-
Since cycling to work (jun 07) I have not been late!
When I used to catch the bus I was late though :x0 -
I hated usin the bus! never on time, had to leave even earlier for that!
I overtake the bus every day anyway... glad I don't bother with it any more!0 -
Not been late to college much ever - though last friday I was 10 mins late into class. Leave an hour and 10 mins for 12 miles (leave at 10 to 8 ), usually takes 35 - 45 mins but last friday I used all the hour and 10! Getting up on the dark mornings is the worst, and it takes a while to warm up. Take 10 mins to get myself sorted when I get there - unstrap my knee, clean socks etc!
One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other.0 -
Never been late for work ever. But I do set off at 0630 at the latest for a 0845 start. I like b eing able to shower up & do some work before colleagues arrrive & start whining at me.0
