I cycled in the morning with a massive sh!t eating grin the whole way

my bike had been fixed and after 3 days of not cycling at all I got to ride my 'new' steed.

:D

Glad you're back on 2 wheels, also glad it wasn't windy, rain not a problem apart from making the legions of London's myopic morons even worse than usual  .

It's just a hill. Get over it.

...I bought some waterproof overtrousers last week and used them most days this week...one of the best bits of kit I have bought...I always believed if you were gonna get wet you just learned to live with it...but oh the bliss of arriving at work dry :D 8)

Today I made a point of taking it easy and enjoying the ride in to work. What a pleasure... 8)

It felt like I'd been swimming not cycling this morning! Looks like much of the same for the return journey. At least it's the weekend.
    It's all good.

I know the feeling, I was put off waterproofs at first as I found them to not be very breathable but during the colder winter months it's not to much of a problem - unfortunately my bits aren't perfectly waterproof but they do keep me a bit drier and stop the wind getting in! It's not quite so bad during the summer as it tends to be a bit warmer and not so heavy!

Like most people I imagine I'd rather get soaked on the way home then the way to work as I can then just strip off and jump in a warm bath :-)
