Hello,
Which pads would you recommend for use with these? The originals have not lasted long at all through the Winter.
Also, I don't have much experience setting these up and when I pull on the brakes both sides do not move evenly, the side not with the brake cable running to it moves first, is this normal or am I incompetent?
Thanks
Steven

These brakes use any normal v-brake pads. I'm currently using the Bell ones form asda - £1.49 a pair and at least as good at the £4.99 fibrax one I used before.0

I have these brakes on my touring bike and use Koolstop pads and the softest compound they do as I've found they're not the most effective in the wet!
Regards the padsnot pulling evenly, think you need to pull the cable through a bit where its anchored at the endYou can lead an elephant to water but a pencil must be lead0 -
Koolstop. Definitely. I have 2 sets of these brakes and have koolstop on both. Also have koolstop pads on my road bike. They are the best.I'm only concerned with looking concerned0
