Tufo sealant

Stuff only works on Tufo tires.
I use it. Seems to work fine for me. I don't go for max. inflation though. I run maybe 130
to 140 psi not the 170 thru 210 that they claim you can use. It can't be a very big hole.
I also don't put it in the tire until I have a flat. Tends to clog up the presta valve. I like
Tufo tires. They give me good wear and the tubular clinchers are easy to install. I don't
really have many flats. Someone up there likes me I guess.

I use it with my Tubular Clinchers, but unlike the above post, I put it in when the tyre is new, and it will fix the puncture whilst riding. Always put the valve upwards if you need to let the tyre down or pump it up. But like the posts above, I never use the max pressure, about 130-140 psi. Bigger holes can be fixed if you are quick, and put the hole at the bottom, and place your finger over the hole for about a minute to allow the sealant to fill the hole and set, but I wouldn't try adding any extra air to the tyre after this if out, as it may blow the hole open again. You can ride the tubular clinchers when flat if need too.0

I used it on my tufos. I did get a big puncture after just a couple of test rides on the tubs though. It was enough to put me off using my tubs for my Ironman race of last year.
My clinchers by comparison - I cant remember the last time I punctured.
I wouldnt ride them flat - not with my carbon rims anyway.
Tufo sealant may be great - it could just be that I was very unlucky - but it was enough to make me ditch them.0
