Replacement Frame for GT Avalanche 1.0

I have had this bike for about a year and a half and would like to replace it with a light frame that will hopefully take most of the parts from the GT. I'm 6 foot so need a frame around 20 inches and made the mistake of buying a medium frame GT so I think it's too small for me as well.
I've seen the Pace RC303, Scott Scale 40, Kinesis and On One frames but I'm struggling to pick them apart for what will be best. I've got around £400 to spend but would prefer to spend a little less unless it's really worth it.
thanks

Which on one and kinesisframe? The Avalanche is not that heavy a frame, some you mention may well be the same. WHat parts will be transferred over (ie fork and its travel) and what riding do you intend to do? You may save more weight upgrading fork and wheels.0

It was the kinesis max light xc20 and the on one inbred 456. I wondered whether the GT might not be that much heavier but couldn't find any info on it's weight anywhere, I need a new frame anyway for the larger size so if you would recommend the GT then Please let me know.
I'm hoping to move everything across to the new frame and then upgrading the rest afterwards.
I mainly ride XC but also use it to commute to work.0 -
The 456 isnt light, about 5.4lbs, a good pound heavier than the Avalanche (4.5lbs I think). Works best at 125mm of travel.
I think the Maxlight XC120 frame is excellent - light, strong, fairly cheap, and as the name suggests, takes a 120mm fork.0 -
Cheers for all your help!!0
