water resistant baggies?

Do water resistant baggies exist? I cycle to work regularly on my MTB and whilst I love my jacket (Gore phantom), I hate having to wear waterproof trousers over my trousers as they are sweaty and horrid.
Its not a long ride, and takes just 15 minutes, so a pair of water resistant baggies would fit the bill quite nicely -will stop me getting too wet from the rain, but would also be breathable.
I am a girl so will want female specific, but most brands do the same stuff in men and womens versions, hence why I didnt put it in the girls section. Any ideas?
thanks.... nic
