Spotted this on CRC...i've been looking at getting a Scale 70, and was hoping to get a test ride on one this coming weekend as i'm a little worried that altough I want an XC bike, it could be a bit full on XC geometry!!
£900 down to £550...I've never heard of BeOne bikes until recently, what are people's opinions/experiences of them??
This is the one that's caught my eye...BeOne Creed 1.0 29er:

I bought a BeOne Drone in January, absolute bargain - I stripped it for parts!
The Creed, spec wise, is a killer deal - so as long as the geo is sorted it may be a good buy0 -
Exactly what I was thinking mate!!
I might just buy it...if I don't like the frame, swap it for something better!!
The size in the pic looks like the size i'd want...but looks smaller than 17" to me...checked B1s site and they only go down to 17". :?0 -
I bought a Beone Karma 2.0 (07) for my girlfriend at the end of last year..£500 down from £900!!
Due to the dreadful weather she's not really ridden it in anger, but we have done road rides with small amounts of off road. She says the bike feels great.. really nimble and light (I have ridden it too and I would agree with her, although it's too small for me to really say). The components and build quality are absolutely superb, there is nothing that even comes close for the money. Beone get a big thumbs up from me!
Only slight downside is that CRC made a mistake with some of the spec.. they said originally that it had a Recon coil fork, when it's actually the air version. At first I thought it was my mistake, but I noticed a review by someone else saying the same thing. I have contacted CRC to see if they will send me some vouchers as a good will gesture.. I'll let you know how this goes!!!
Overall though, a great bike, very happy.0 -
Cool, good to hear...i'm definitely considering this one!!
Realised why the frame looks low for a 17"...the BB height looks really low!!
Also, CRC's spec says 7005 frame...when the picture says 6061!!?? :?0 -

Why are you complaining about getting the air version?0 -
It doesn't have adjustable travel or lockout.0

TBH honest I always choose coil over air, I find them much plusher, less hassle and more reliable - not for money saving either - I only have Air on my race bike for weight issues....0 -

Ah fair enough, I was expecting same features, just air and lighter.0
