After borrowing my bike for the day, my friend kindly jet washed the bike - only problem was that he jet washed the decals off my Mavic SLR's! Thanks
Does anyone know a contact in the UK that I can get replacement decals from? I've looked on the Mavic website but thats not particularly helpful.

Can't help on the decals, but if he used enough power to 'blast' off the decals I'd be looking very closely at all my bearings.......0

Truste me! I've had the bike in bits checking it! I know he meant well, but I'ds sooner have had the bike back caked in mud with the bearing and decals in place! Oh well, you live and learn! :?2011 Yeti ASR5 carbon: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/5817307/

Thanks Supersonic! Very helpful!
Would you happen to have the number of the main Specalized office in Epsom, Surrey? I need a new Cane Creek headset as well (its battered) and wondered where an earth you get one from as they dont look particularly stock!2011 Yeti ASR5 carbon: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/5817307/

Dunno that number, but most headsets are easily available. There are a few types availabloe, and I wasnt aware of Spesh using anything unique.0

Nop! Just spoken to Bromley Bikes - they aren't particularly rare thank god! And Hope make one for the S Works as well, which I think I'll get because the Cane Creek has been utter rubbish since day one! They should rename them 'Cane Cr*p'! All it ever did was creek (funnily enough) and had loads of play in it!2011 Yeti ASR5 carbon: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/5817307/

IIRC, the SLR graphics are now painted onto the rims.
I'll check in work tomorrow. But you'd have to go some with a jetwash to blast the paint off. :shock:It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.0 -
