Seriously looking for one of these. amazing looking bike. Proper British engineering.
Anyone ride one / has one / selling one that can tell me if it's a good ride.
Otherwise will just nail it to the wall and sit and stare...

Fair point. I've read quite a bit of feedback about creaking noises.
Just after owning something different and hopefully that rides properly.
If not, any other suggestions for 'different' bikes that will do light trail / xc welcome.
Thanks!Trek 8500 w/ Singlespeed Conversion - http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1697041/

A unicycle? ;-)
Do you mean different as in a rarer brand, or something thats aesthetically different? How much you got to spend?0 -
aesthetically different and uncommon.
Have neither the balance or the large shoes / squirty flower to be unicycling.
As the proud owner of 2 Treks I feel the need to balance this excitement with something slightly mad.
Got up to about £1k to spend on a 'fun' bike and don't care about 2nd hand.
Something rare would be good.
Has to be good for pretty flat xc as there are no hills round here. Shame because some of the hardcore downhill bikes are cool.
Any ideas appreciated...Trek 8500 w/ Singlespeed Conversion - http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1697041/

Probably well engineered but it is ugly as sin though isn't it - I am all up for individuality but it's like one of those 'concept' vehicles that are 'way out' there and never get made - although in this case it did (for a while)0
