Ok, we're in the teeth of the storm here, the belly of the beast. When do you think I should put a little asterisk on my calender that indicates I'll still have some daylight available when I get home after work?

Dunnoh a bout you but if I manage to hold onto the uncharacteristic routine of waking up around 6am I might see day light on the way to work soon. Still a long way until I get daylight after 4pm though.

    I'm home at about 6.15

I need a target though! Something to look forward to with hope!

Not knowing where you live, you'll have to do the calculation for yourself. This makes it easy!

I just checked and April 17th was my first evening ride last year :( Then again, maybe I was just ahem...busy at work

Well I have plenty of day light on this day and plenty of ambient light after day light which is fine if your not trying to go to sleep.

Assuming the requirement to get the bus home (ie not go for a run to extend the commute) an head out without lights.

First day of BST I think. When getting home at 6 still leaves an hour and a bit.
