Looking for a workstand for carbon bike and so don't really want something that clamps to frame or seatpost (that's carbon too).
I've seen this Tacx T3050 Spider Team Workstand
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=15811
Which seems to fit the bill as reasonable price and fits to BB / forks. Any opinions please or other options.
Cheers

Clamping to seatposts is fine as they are designed to be clamped to!0

But carbon seatposts.... I was under the impression that it would be pretty easy to apply pressure in the wrong way / too tight etc and break it :?0 -
Reading on some of the roadie section, they seem pretty cautious on clamping carbon seatposts and recommend BB type supports.0

Seat post clamping if fine on Carbon seat posts.
it is not like you really have to clamp them that hard to hold then steady."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The seatpost clamp method really is the best way to go.0

Just received my workstand from Wiggle - LifeLine Spin Doctor Deluxe Workstand.
Really impressed and much more substantial than I expected; nice and heavy A bargain at 40% off (£54).0
