Looking to get some new clothing and i'm going to go for either the DHB Merston tights with the DHB Rogate jersey (anyone tried this jersey before?)
Or team kit- what do people think is the best looking?
I like CSC but l've ready got 2006 so thinking something new.
Any thoughts-
(Also any cool looking non team jerseys would be cool- like if anyone finds white bib tights/white long sleeved jersey for sale somewhere..... )

The retro jeresys (7-eleven, Panasonic etc) are nice. I think they come from Prendas?road0

No no no, white bibs are a terrible idea... they have a habit of becoming rather see through after a few washes! Not team kit, but some of Castelli's kit looks great: http://castelli-cycling.com/eng/index.htm

Team kit is a no no unless you have the bike to match, If you have a cervelo then get the CSC kit, but even then it all looks a bit wannabe. Even worse people with world champ rainbow jerseys!!
Either get something retro or plain.Cycling - The pastime of spending large sums of money you don't really have on something you don't really need.0 -
White kit available here. Make sure you don't cycle through any puddles if your bike hasn't got mudguards.

2. You shall NEVER, under any circumstances, wear plain black spandex shorts or any team kit containing non-prominent Logo's.
So obeying these rules is no.1 priority.

So I have to get something garish.
Liquigas would do it, and I can get the full kit from probikekit.com....
As for colour matching- my other bike is black carbon so everything matches it (nearly)
That white is well blinging, but yes- dry conditions only!
When my actual team finally buys some kit I'll wear that a lot more, but in the meantime I like to be noticeable!
I'm too young for retro as well being a mere 19.
What about the DHB stuff- anyone ever worn that jersey before?"I hold it true, what'er befall;

Your never too young to look sharp
I have some DHB stuff (tights and a winter jersey) and for the money it's pretty good. It's sized a bit small though so get the next size up.Cycling - The pastime of spending large sums of money you don't really have on something you don't really need.0 -
I have Saeco kit of 2005 which I like loads. I do also like the CSC, Continental Tyres, Caisse d'Epargne and the Vredestein are all lovely too.
I think the Slipstream looks chavvy... ruddy aweful.Every winner has scars.0 -
Check out this beautiful retro jersey. I just wish I could afford one!!:

I'd get something random from Prendas. More interesting than most current team kits. I wouldn't get white shorts though. No way!0

Join a Local racing club and wear their kit. A this advertizing etc from overseas is a load of tosh .

ive always liked the recycling.com team kit but dont think you can buy it"you tried your best and failed miserably. the lesson is never to try"0

I really like the recycling.co.uk team kit as well, but the thing is theres a guy at my old school who is a member of Recycling.co.uk, and who lives up the road from me and who I've been riding with.
Not sure I could get away with that kit!"I hold it true, what'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;

Found a GB jersey on Ebay- is this akin to supporting the team, or is it seen as a way of pretending to be on the team?
Possibly the whole question about team kits really- I bought my CSC team kit as I loved team CSC, but I also think it looks good and wearing it makes me feel faster- and encourages me to train harder, so that I might become more like the people who wear the kit for real.
Thats why I find it easier to justify buying team kit and don't see it as pretending to be something I'm not."I hold it true, what'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost;
Than never to have loved at all."

Someone was selling the entire recycling kit on eBay this week actually- think the shorts are still untaken, but the leg warmers, long sleeve jersey, base layer, mitts etc I think are all gone.
Decided to get a mix of things- got a nike 10/2 long sleeve jersey, DHB 3/4 bibs, GB Long Sleeve Jersey, a Discovery Gilet, De Marchi Contour Long sleeve top, DHB Base layer and will wait and see on some GB Mitts and and T Mobile team kit."I hold it true, what'er befall;

You can't (or definitely shouldn't) race in a team kit (especially a UCI team kit) for a team you don't belong to. That's just awful. You can train in them, but never race in them. I'd recommend the www.unattachedrider.com site, for a cool UR kit.0

I purchased a Discovery shirt from J E James as they were selling them off. I would like to get an England shirt the one with St George's cross on the front but have not seen them anywhere. (Even though it is mainly white)Justice for the 960
