It's a rubber thing

Okay, so tyres...
The last ones I bought were IRC Mythos front and rear, great treads but I'm sure there is something better about now.
I'm looking for something that can handle mainly fire roads and the occasional rooty singlertrack. Got to be good in the corners cos I tend to lean the bike over a little.
Any suggestions?
Are the Racing Ralf and Nobby Nic any good?

I'm sure that rattling will go away...

Very fast combo, very often recommended, they can be a little fragile but you should be fine with them. Also work a look would be panaracer tyres, either the cinders or razors if you want something a little faster.0

I use that Schwalbe set up,and it works great. In the winter,I stick a Noby Nic on the back, but I`ve often been impressed how far the Racing Ralph has got even in mud.
Noticeably faster with the Racing Ralph in dry or intermediate conditions, though, even against the Nobby Nic which in itself is far frm sluggish.
Shop around,on the net for the best price, though as they can be very pricy.2006 Giant XTC

The razors will be faster, but seeing as you're in germany you should be able to get schwalbe tyres much more cheaply than we can here...0
