hi all.
just wondering if anyone can give me some advice about these (120mm versions);
http://chainreactioncycles.com/Models.a ... elID=21563
basically, im wondering if they would be strong enough for All Mountain use, including bits of very rough DHL. the fact they have 30mm stanchions set alarm bells off, especially if theyre 120mm travel!
sorry for the vagueness! :roll:
thanks!

Marzocchi class the MZ and MX range as XC based, so I dont think theyd take too well to DH! I'd look at something a bit burlier if you plan to thrash it! The RS Tora is classed as a XC/AM fork.0

The Supercomp is damped however, its better than the old Comp and Race! Still XC though.0

I'd second the Tora's. Got mine on my old bike for £90 (100mm version) last year and they just get better with use. Not the lightest but take a beating - foolishly did the downhill runs at Aston Hill with them and they coped. Of course I was sh***ing it big-time on some of the drops but that's all part of the game....0

I got two sets, a 318 and 302 set at 130mm - very stiff for a 32mm stanchioned fork, taking some big hits without a flinch.0

would the 100mm ones have enough travel for a bit of dhl? (302)Carbon 456... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8854609/0

What bike is it for?
100mm is not much for DH, but if the spring is stiff, it would handle a few hits. Wouldnt recommend it though.0
