I bought some 2007 rockshox tora 318 soloair forks from winstanly cycles the about 3 months ago nowand they advertised as being 85-130mm travel. on arrival the rockshox book said that i would have to take them to my local rockshox dealer to get the travel adjusted. so after weeks i wanted the travel upped from the standerd 100mm to 130mm but the shop said this wasnt possible. should i phone up winstanley cycles and ask about this as i feel cheated as they are 30 quid more than the u turn coil toras?

So which 318's did you buy? they are all adjustable. one is 80 to 130 in 2 steps, another is 80 to 100 only, and the 3rd is U-turn.

the all travel ones just need spacers adding or removing.

So maybe the shop is not aware.

yep just need to add remove the spacers as part of a service to change the travel.

I think the 80/100 318 is a 29er fork so it must be the 80/100/130 you have.
