Ti Seatpost Slip
I have a Ti seatpost in a Ti frame.
The bike is superb but I have been having problems tightening the seatpost sufficiently to prevent quite rapid slipping.
I've got it just about steady but I have tightened the bolt way more than I would usually, in fact if the bolt had sheared I wouldn't have been surprised.
Is there any less brutal way? Are Ti to Ti interfaces notoriously slippy.
Cheers

I don't have direct experience with ti seatpost/ti frame, but I do have carbon sp/alu frame, carbon sp/carbon frame and alu sp/steel frame. Have used Permatex Hylomar HPF (avail. from auto supply stores, at least in North America) but cycle specific products like this from Tacx are specifically designed for your problem www.tacx.com/producten.php?fl=true&lang ... ce%20Tools0
