I prefer these to the new ones!

In fact all of the old XT range is great and that's what I shall have on the Attack Trail.

Can get it all at ridiculous prices now also!

I'm still on Octalink! Got an LX octalink crank at CRC for 35 nuggets, only weighs 646g

I used to have an octalink chainset - never had any probs with it

I think for XC and most trail riding they rule - the bearings seem to last longer than on HT2, and my full set up with BB is lighter than LX HT2! Put a top end octalink BB in, and alloy inner ring, as light as XT.
