where is the best place on the bike to attach a battery without it getting in the way??

    It depends on its design. Some will only fit in bottle cages. Some have velcro straps to go under the top tube, or seattube. Usually somewhere in the front triangle.

    on my hope led it fits under the 50mm stem.

    My L&M battery fits under the stem. . . . .

  • I have a really Crappy Cateye £40 single light unit and the battery is a huge square thing, I mount it under the rear of the seat and strap it to the seat rails and seatpost via the velcro straps, then run the wiring along the top tube to the bars.

    it's a l&m stella li-on have had it on the seatpost but it gets filthy.
