usuall rule of thumb is to half the origional cost of the bike then take £10 for each year owned
if its brand new un ridden then i'd say knock a third off perhaps?
thats what mountain bikers normaly work on anywayMy signature was stolen by a moose
that will be all

id say knock maybe £150 off list price...brand new bike is still damn good second hand or not....halfprice or a third off is a little heavy in my opinion
but why unwanted?
how was it bought if you would not want it?0 -
I think vince was setting him up before he put an offer in0

I think you should sell it for roughly £50.... I''ll PM you my offer now.. joke
A third off a bit too steep for a brand new bike, £150-200 i would say.0 -
Take it back to the shop if it's never been used.0

25-30% off retail is normal - that's the profit margin the shop made, so now you're just charging the 'real' value of the product. Check that nobody's selling last years models cheap either - sale prices on big brand bike often exceed 30% and will impact value too. Most people over-value nearly new bikes - it's only worth what someone's prepared to pay.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

And the shop presumably also charged VAT? So >30%.d.j.
