Sram cassette with Shimano lockring?

The time has come to replace my shimano cassette. Have seen some good deals on Sram cassettes. Can I use the Shimano lockring, or do I need to get a special Sram one?

    Unless you're swapping to an 11 sprocket, the Shimano one is OK. AFAIK Shimano and SRAM cassettes are fully interchangeable.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Good point about the 11 sprocket - I was thinking of an 11 up casette and would have forgotten that!
