Boss Workstands... any good?

I have seen a Boss 3000 Workstand advertised for £49.99, 50% reduction, are they any good, I don't want to part with hard earned cash only to find out rubbish

I can't fault mine. Clamps on wide range of top tubes, stable and cheap.

I quite fancied the look of the cheaper, but fixed 1200 - looks more stable to me, only if you have the room of course.
