Hello all, I'm thinking of heading over to tenerife next month for some mountain training, can anyone please recommend any selfcatering places to stay or a good quality bed and breakfast. Preferably in the north of the island. Thanks

Otherwise try googling casas rurales tenerife. There are lots of self catering cotages of all sizes & costs throughout the Canaries. February should be quiet & therefore loads to choose from.

We stayed last new year on La Gomera & it was good - cold in the mountains at night though. Some of the owners may only speak Spanish & with a strong local accent so be prepared for anything.

Don't forget half term holidays starting around 8th February when flights will usually double in price.
