Aside from the Aussie, it's only really Pip Gilbert who's of any note.
Bet California gets more names.

But I see that Jezza Hunt and Mark Renshaw are riding, so a litle Brit / Irish interest at least.0

doubt you'd be thinking that if you were down here, Iain.
[or, perhaps, if you're a gloomy git who doesn't like summer and can't abide people having a good time, you would]. Anyway, they're just some names in a whole festival of cycling. I'll let you know how good it really is.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I don't hate the TDU, I just think it was a mistake becoming a PT race. My snidey remark is more aimed at the PT.
They should've alligned themselves with ASO if they wanted the best riders 8)Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Moncoutie looks like he is starting a long awaited comeback so that might be good.0

ASO = Adelaide Symphony Orchestra??? I'd like to see that.
Actually, I rather agree with you, but it's hard to be too dismissive when you see the combined Cofidis, Credit Agricole and AG2R squads heading out through the city at 8.30am on their training ride through the hills.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

There are some great riders racing that week.....
Liquigas (Ita)
111. Valerio Agnoli (Ita)
112. Michael Albasini (Sui)
113. Kjell Carlstrom (Fin)
114. Murilo Fischer (Bra)
115. Vladimir Miholjevic (Cro)
116. Ivan Santaromita Villa (Ita)
117. Mauro Da Dalto (Ita)
Just not in Australia though....
Wow... Makes me want to rush out and buy a Liquigas Jersey!0 -
I agree the UCI's idea of trying to promote cycling in other countries...but would go for China, India, Africa as locations of pro tour events of the future as these developing parts of the world are very under represented in professional cycling considering the size of their populations.0
