On my last bike i had spd's and always unclicked on any decents as ive had 1 or2 falls  so ive been thinking of buying a set of dual pedals in place of the Welgo's,so just aftersome advice on wots good......

I've used Shimano & thought they were good but got tired of picking up the "wrong" side of the pedal & went spd only.

These dual pedals seem to offer the worst of both worlds, rather than the best!0

agree with supersonic. they appear like a good idea, but the other side wont work like proper flats if thats what you want you're looking for... your foot will probably slip off (hence the need for pins/waffle sole) & they may be a bit flimsy. also, you might find your legs are slightly overstretched when you switch to the flats side, as the spd's will be on the ball of your foot, while flats are normally more central.
probably be fine for very occasional use tho if you mainly use the spd side, and good idea for people who are just starting to learn the art of clipping in/out.0
