No-one has posted in here ALL DAY.

Today I ordered the last bits for my rig. Orange lizard skin grips, these are so so cheap so they might not last, and they are basic slip-on ones at £8! but they are orange !

I got a Fizik nisene saddle, I also ordered the orange scuff guards with it to keep up the orange theme.

So I'll have orange bits on the saddle, orange headset, and orange pedals. I think that should do it.

The very VERY last bits I need are tyres and inner tubes.

Welcome!

    I think he missed the 'le' off the end. I get used it. They do the same to my Zaskar too...
  • Hey GT, shame they don't do Panaracers XC pro's with Orange shoulders! :mrgreen:
  • Should look great GT - can't wait to see the pix mate!

    There was a point where I went too over the top with the Red (on my Marin)

    It looked the dogs danglies until I went that little bit too far with it.

    Cost me a fortune only to go back to black and white again.....

    Still kept all of the bits though as you know I like to change my mind! :lol:

    I'm going to lace it to a mavic 717 I think, or even a ZTR and put it on the Zaskar! Got a rear one too, I'll clean it up and take a pic. Its only a 7spd, and seems to be one of the older freehubs where the outer cog also acts as the lockring, requiring two chainwhips to remove it.

    Sonic

    love the way you've got it resting on a silk cushion, proper respectful given it's beauty. :D (or is it your duvet, are you sleeping with it?)
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    Wheels - XTR, 717 with revolution spokes :wink:

    Discs = 07 XT (cheap stop gap)

    Rear Mech = XT M772 Shadow

    Cassette = XT M770 11-32
    Chain = XT

    The XT is to get me up and running then I'll top it all out with XTR naturally! :lol:
  • Nice one - XT is top kit mate as you know...

    ... but I also know the 'tart within' is screaming to get out!!! :lol:

    Can't wait for your new build to be completed - gonna be awesome! :wink:

    It should be a nice balance of good looks and good parts and hopefully not a bad weight.
    May take a while though.

    I know - I'm not sure if I'd go for them though, it could be a bit OTT on the orange if I did, I am hoping I've got the balance exactly right.
