Has anyone purchased a 2008 Trek Madone??

Have you any issues with the Frame finish.

    Hi Brian

    I have a Madone 5.5 which appears to have a lack of lacquer on the frame,giving not the best finish i have seen(very patchy and cloudy looking)
    Shop this say this is the way these frames are.I inspected another bike(5.5,5.2 and 5.1) in the shop and the finish was 100 times better than mine.
    Maybe a consequence of getting one of the first new models in the UK(got it in October)
    I do NOT regret buying the bike as it is a beautiful bike.
